FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE - EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
Our Military Kids provides a grant program, for National Guard & Reserve families, that pays for children's extracurricular activities. Eligible families apply for a grant, and within days of receiving the application in the Our Military Kids office, a packet is sent to the child notifying them of the award. The check to pay for the activity is sent directly to the service provider. These grants are up to $500 per child and cover a six month time frame. Our Military Kids also provides grants to children of All Wounded Warriors (National Guard, Reserve, and Active Duty) for sports, fine arts, camps, and academic tutoring programs. Organization Description: Our Military Kids provides substantial support in the form of grants to the children of National Guard and Military Reserve personnel who are currently deployed overseas, as well as the children of Wounded Warriors in all branches. The grants pay for participation in extracurricular activities and tutoring programs that nurture and sustain children while a parent is away in service to our country or recovering from an injury.

Application, Identification (1 of 3 forms): Copy of child's Military ID card OR Copy of completed Form 1172, Application for Uniformed Services Identification (DEERS Form) OR Copy of child's Birth Certificate if he/she is the biological child of the deployed service member, military deployment, VA eligibility forms, service program documentation
